Throughout your years of school, you might have had the chance to get up in front of the class and present a topic. For those who hated public speaking, this moment had to be an ultimate embarrassing experience. Public speaking is a form of fear to some because they are afraid of what people perceive of them. In fact, about 30% of Americans are highly scared of public speaking. Unfortunately, this fear could potentially have a negative impact on your professional & personal life. Why exactly do people fear public speaking?
People fear public speaking for a plethora of reasons. They are afraid of being judged by their audience failures, embarrassment, going off the script and more! Although these internal and external factors might stop you from doing the best presentation, there are a few tips to improve your public speaking skills.
